- GYUMRI TECHNOLOGY CENTER
At Gyumri Technology Center (GTC) by EIF, we educate, incubate, and empower future leaders, creators, and innovators with a focus on convergence of art, science, and technology. Through regional development initiatives, industry partnerships, and workforce training, GTC serves as a platform for business growth, skill development, and technological advancement in Armenia’s regions.
- ORIGINS
Constructed in the early 20th century, between 1900 and 1920, the building stands as a distinctive architectural gem crafted from black tuff. Originally the building served as the first campus of Yerevan State University, which commenced its operations in Gyumri before relocating to Yerevan, the building later housed the Gyumri M. Nalbandyan Pedagogical Institute for a period. Since 2014, it has found a new purpose as the Gyumri Technology Center or as the locals call it Gyumri Technopark.
- OUR FOUNDATION
GTC was established in 2014 by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), in partnership with the Government of Armenia and the World Bank. The goal was clear—to position Gyumri as a thriving technological hub, fostering:
- Advanced technical and business skills
- Technology-driven entrepreneurship
- Commercialization of innovative research
- Foreign investment and startup acceleration
GTC was built on the vision of regional economic transformation, creating an ecosystem where technology companies, startups, and talent can grow and innovate.
- OUR IMPACT
