Entrepreneurs, innovators, developers, and tech professionals—you’re invited to take part in the “Safe Digital Horizons” Hackathon, happening on September 30 at 12:00 PM at the Gyumri Technology Center (GTC).
Organized by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), Safe YOU, and Impact Innovations Institute (IMINI Foundation), the hackathon aims to spark innovative digital solutions for building safer and more inclusive digital environments for women and for addressing tech-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV).
Hackathon Objectives: Participants are challenged to develop projects that focus on one or more of the following themes:
AI-powered solutions to combat online violence and harassment
Interactive games that promote digital literacy among women and girls
The hackathon will run as a 24-hour innovation sprint, during which teams will receive mentoring from local and international experts. By the end of the session, teams will present demo versions of their solutions to a jury of evaluators.
The top three winning teams will receive a total prize fund of 1,000,000 AMD (including all applicable taxes and fees) to further develop and implement their ideas.
