Last week, the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) hosted the first in a series of closing events for sub-grant projects under the “Mayors for Economic Growth” program at the Gyumri Technology Center (GTC).
As part of the event, EIF introduced the newly developed VisitGyumri.info platform—created in collaboration with the Gyumri and Vanadzor Technology Centers – which offers a fresh, data-driven approach to promoting Gyumri as a tourist destination.
The platform provides comprehensive and up-to-date information about Gyumri, including:
- Sightseeing and walking routes
- Cultural landmarks and must-visit locations
- Accommodation and leisure options
- Local transportation and maps
- Important contact information and upcoming events
By centralizing this data, VisitGyumri.info serves both as a practical guide for visitors and a strategic tool for boosting local tourism and economic activity.
VisitGyumri.info was developed under the “Open Data for Accurate Visitor Information in Gyumri” initiative, one of the sub-grant projects supported through the Mayors for Economic Growth framework. The program is implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and funded by the European Union.
