The Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF)’s Gyumri Technology Center (GTC) is celebrating its 11th anniversary.
Founded through the joint efforts of EIF, the Government of Armenia, and the World Bank, GTC became the first regional model for high-tech development in Armenia, setting a precedent for fostering innovation outside the capital.
Over the past 11 years, GTC has consistently created new opportunities for youth, startups, and established companies. Its impact has extended beyond Shirak, reaching Syunik and other regions, successfully replicating its development model across Armenia.
Today, GTC continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the regional high-tech ecosystem. Its contributions have empowered thousands of young people to specialize in technology, supported the growth of new and existing enterprises, and stimulated economic development in the region. With a forward-looking vision, GTC is committed to building sustainable opportunities and strengthening Armenia’s role in the global technology landscape.
