On December 8, the final regional event of the CyberNinja Camp cybersecurity training program took place at the Sisian Co-creation Lab in Syunik, under the banner of the Syunik Regional Meetup.
The event brought together over 70 young participants from the Shirak, Lori, and Syunik regions, who have spent the past six months building foundational knowledge in cybersecurity and digital literacy. For many, the program has played a key role in shaping their career aspirations, with a significant number of participants now considering a professional future in cybersecurity.
The meetup featured:
- Reverse learning workshops with local public school teachers from Syunik
- Expert talks delivered by professionals in the cybersecurity field and program alumni
- A youth panel discussion highlighting perspectives and insights from Syunik-based participants
The event concluded with a certificate ceremony, recognizing the accomplishments of the young participants and marking the official completion of their journey in the CyberNinja Camp program.
The CyberNinja Camp is implemented within the broader Cybersecurity Education Program, led by UNICEF Armenia and the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF). The program is delivered through EIF’s Gyumri Technology Center, Vanadzor Technology Center, and CyHub Armenia—EIF’s national cybersecurity initiative. Targeting youth aged 12–18 in Armenia’s Shirak, Lori, and Syunik regions, the program is designed to empower regional youth with critical skills in cybersecurity and digital awareness. The initiative is funded by the UK Government as part of its international development assistance in Armenia.
