Narine, a participant from Syunik in the Gamechangers: Girls for Girls program—implemented by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) and UNICEF Armenia—recently represented Armenia at the renowned SXSW 2025 Festival in Texas, USA. She took the stage as a speaker in the panel discussion titled “Play, Learn, Earn,” where she shared her personal story and the transformative impact of the Gamechangers program on her life.
In her speech, Narine reflected on her journey:
“Becoming a girl in game development once felt impossible—especially in a region like Syunik where there were no educational opportunities in this field. When I heard about Gamechangers, I knew I had to be part of it. A while later, along with other Gamechangers from Syunik, we helped organize the opening of the Sisian Co-creation Lab, creating new technological and youth opportunities in our region.”
Today, Narine serves as a mentor at the Sisian Co-creation Lab by EIF, inspiring other girls in her community to pursue their passions, even those that once seemed out of reach.
The Gamechangers: Girls for Girls program is implemented by UNICEF and the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) in collaboration with the Gyumri and Vanadzor Technology Centers, engaging girls aged 12 to 24 from Lori, Shirak, and Syunik regions.
