Yesterday, the Enterprise Incubator Foundation’s (EIF) Gyumri Technology Center (GTC) hosted the closing event of a practical training program carried out in collaboration with the Shirak Regional State College.
The 5-month program engaged second-, third-, and fourth-year college students in tailored, hands-on experiences aimed at developing their business and technology skills through real-world applications.
Second-year students completed their internship in cooperation with Umbrella X Laboratory, where they learned the fundamentals of startup idea generation, key business metrics, and pitching techniques. At the final event, they presented their startup concepts to a panel of evaluators.
Third- and fourth-year students collaborated directly with local businesses – Lianna Tours and Little Sweets confectionery. They conducted full-scale business analysis and offered strategic improvement recommendations. The program culminated with the development of innovative, feature-rich websites tailored to each business’s needs.
This initiative underscores GTC’s commitment to equipping regional students with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive in Armenia’s evolving tech and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
