On June 3rd, the Gyumri Technology Center (GTC) by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), welcomed high-level representatives from the World Bank, including Mr. Rolande Symone, Regional Director for the South Caucasus, and Ms. Carolin Geginat, Country Manager of the World Bank Office in Armenia.
During the visit, the delegation toured the GTC facility, engaged with resident tech companies, and explored the center’s key innovation spaces, including the Co-Creation Lab and the Creative Tech Lab.
The discussions highlighted GTC’s growing role as a driving force in the development of Armenia’s regional tech ecosystem. The parties also explored opportunities for future collaboration, particularly focused on expanding technology-driven initiatives in the Syunik region and promoting inclusive innovation across the country.
This visit underscores the increasing recognition of GTC as a strategic hub for technological advancement and youth empowerment in Armenia.
